Don Avery

Owner

Don Avery is a geologist, mining engineer and database administrator. He has experience in precious metals, base metals, and industrial minerals. Don’s eighteen years of experience as an exploration geologist with Cordex led him to develop GeoSequel to manage mine data and produce reports. Don brought the GeoSequel program to TerraSource/Mine Development Associates where the program grew to be used by global mining companies and exploration groups. Don worked as a Geologist for MDA for 24 years. Don’s extensive knowledge of database systems and his ability to relay information to geology and engineering colleagues sets him apart from many data support individuals.

Alex Ruud

Owner

Alex Ruud worked as a technician assisting engineers and geologists with projects at Mine Development Associates while he completing his master’s degree in computer programming. Alex is primarily a software developer, but his family background in mining provides him with knowledge in the field of geology. Alex used his skills in computer programming and his knowledge of mining to create the lab tools portion of GeoSequel. He was also instrumental for creating the Windows interface for GeoSequel. Alex has worked closely with Don for the last decade to expand and enhance the GeoSequel product and experience.
